Peach Salsa

I finally made salsa!  And several types at that.  The peach one was absolutely perfect.  I made it using:

  • 3 large peaches
  • One jalapeño
  • One quarter to one half of a red onion
  • One to two tablespoons of chopped cilantro
  • Teaspoon of honey
  • Lime juice to taste

After mixing all items together the salsa sat for a day or two  – as a general rule homemade salsa is better if it sits for a few days.  Chop items as fine or as chunky as you wish them to be – get creative!  The last batch I made I added mint from my garden for an extra burst of flavor.
