Purposeful Eating is about buying, eating and knowing about food with the purpose of maintaining a sustainable and healthy body and Earth, and enjoying every delicious minute of it!

We are based in Philadelphia, PA, USA, but travel as often as we can to places far and near, so keep a watch out for our creative solutions to a good, sustainable diet!

Anna Quinn

is a Clinical Research Coordinator III in the Division of Population Science, within the Department of Medical Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University.  She graduated in December 2011 with her MPH from from Jefferson as well. Anna aims to educate about caring for oneself, community and Earth through research, education and health promotion. In her spare time she likes learning about new foods, biking, yoga, traveling and spending solitary moments in beautiful places. Shout out to Mia Dalia for helping Anna edit her work. Mia likes (in no particular order) books, baked goods, grammar, biking, monsters, zombies and other things that go bump in the night, sunshine, Anna’s cooking and the lovely city of Philadelphia.
